Batch controller also can be called loading control device which is the main equipment to realize the quantitative loading. Its main function is to program control and safety chain for the loading process. Its feature and function will be described as below.
This quantitative loading control device’s hardware are composed by one micro PLC module, one LCD operating plate(including operating keyboard) and other accessories such as terminal, electric power and explosive proof cabinet etc. Based on this kind of hardware design and composition, all of the device has more natural advantages comparing with the system composed by monolithic integrated circuits. The function are as follows:
1) Parameter presetting function
The loading control device can set up the loading parameter through remote monitoring computer or loading control device according to loading requirements. These parameter contains: flow factor, advance value, valve opening delay time, liquid density etc.
2) Loading control
After confirming the operating parameter of loading control device, it will complete the loading control process automatically according to designated order. When the loading capacity meet the presetting value, it will stop loading automatically.
3) Over-filling protect function
When the loading is over-filling, it will stop the loading.
4) Grounding protecting function
When the loading control device inspects that the system isn’t grounding, it will stop the loading.
5) Power off protecting function
When the power is off during loading process, it can store the loading parameter. After the electric come back, it will continue to loading.
6) Data collection function
The loading control device can collect the pulse signal or standard electric signal of the flow meter. It can input the thermal resistance temperature signal through the converter. It can also input the switch signal of anti over-filling&static etc.
7) Continuity control function of valve
The loading control device has PID adjustable outputting function. It can control the aperture of adjustable valve in line ratio continuously to realize the two stage or more stage switch function and constantly flow adjusting function. It can supply the control effect the accuracy.
8) Emergency stopping function in site
The loading control device and the monitoring screen all are set up the emergency stopping bottom. If there is emergency condition happening, the operator just need to push the emergency stopping bottom to stop the loading.
9) The remote and local just-in-time monitoring function
The loading control device equips high bright LCD. It can display the just-in-time loading process and the state of relevant equipment. When in remote controlling state, the remote monitoring computer and the loading control device can both display the loading process and the state of relevant equipment at the same time.
10) Remote/local loading mode converting function
In normal condition, the loading will be controlled by remote upper computer. It also can be controlled just in site according to requirements. In this system, a loading control device is a complete calculating, controlling and displaying unit, which is separated from the upper computer.
11) Power supplying for instruments in site
The loading control device also supply power outputting interface to supply 24VDC or 220VAC power for the instruments in site such as flow meter, valve etc.
12) Communication function
The loading control device is an opening system, which has strong communication and net connecting function. It can connect with upper computer and other system by Ethernet or RS485.
13) Self-checking function
The system can check the state of loading control device. The monitoring computer could monitoring the working state of loading control device remotely. When the loading control device is in failure, the system will alarm automatically.
14) Operating authority setting
This loading control device can set up 3 grade 6 numbers operating code. When the code is correct, the system can be operated.
